Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading maintenance at a mine site. They will oversee plant fleet repairs and planning, ensure work is completed within budget and meets targets for availability, reliability, and manufacturer specifications.
About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join a team responsible for planning and executing maintenance activities on a plant fleet comprising CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide support to the Maintenance Superintendent to ensure effective resource allocation to meet maintenance work targets and schedules.
* Define performance expectations for maintenance personnel and monitor their performance.
* Review plant performance in terms of availability, breakdowns, and backlog and take remedial or preventative action as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with project management plans.
* Monitor the work of subcontractors to ensure they implement IMS requirements.
* Prepare and monitor budgets and track expenditure.
* Liaise with other supervisors to ensure plant availability needed to optimise production levels.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing mobile and fixed mining equipment maintenance. They must demonstrate positive safety leadership skills and behaviour and effective people management and development experience and skills.
