Multimedia Producer
Join the NSW Department of Education as a Multimedia Producer (Clerk Grade 7/8)

We are excited to announce openings for multiple Multimedia Producer positions within our Curriculum directorate.

• Location: Parramatta with access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available

• Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 with base salary ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

• 6 x Temporary full-time opportunity up to four (4) years, with possibility for extension or conversion to ongoing

About the Curriculum directorate

The Curriculum directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform.

About the role

The Multimedia Producer coordinates the design and development of high-quality, engaging video, audio, and photographic content across a range of formats that support teaching and learning in NSW government schools.

About you

You are a skilled and creative multimedia professional with proven experience producing end-to-end video, audio, and animation resources for educational settings. You excel at managing all stages of production, including consultation preparation, recording and post-production while liaising with diverse stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements. With a solid understanding of current multimedia standards, technologies and accessibility requirements, you deliver high-quality, user-centred content that aligns with departmental guidelines and enhances learning outcomes. Providing expert guidance to a range of stakeholders, you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and excel at managing multiple projects within tight timeframes and budgets.

Key knowledge and experience:

• Have a proven working history in the production of high quality and engaging multimedia resources that meet clients' needs.

• Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements:

• Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)

• Hold a valid Drivers' licence

• Willingness to travel across NSW to facilitate and execute filming events

• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
