We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to animals residing at the animal relief centre.
* Daily Tasks:
* Manage the daily well-being of animals, including monitoring their health, cleanliness, and environment. Ensure that all animals receive proper feeding, cleaning, and administration of medication as required.
* Document and report any health or behavior concerns to veterinarians, ensuring timely intervention.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients during adoption, surrender, and reclaiming processes.
* Respond to public inquiries, offering support and information on animal welfare and care.
* Maintain accurate records of animal management, adhering to relevant Acts, procedures, and deadlines.
Skill Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
