About The Position
We are looking for reliable individuals with a can-do attitude to join our team. If you enjoy problem solving and working with various equipment and machinery, we want to hear from you. This is a permanent, day shift role based at our Narooma site, involving duties such as stacking, docking, strapping, and grading timber products, with potential dispatching responsibilities for suitable candidates. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 9.5 hours per day starting at 6am.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handling timber including grading, stacking, sorting, and strapping
2. Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure smooth operations
3. Inventory management
4. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
About You
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Experience in manufacturing or manual handling is desirable
* Positive attitude, reliability, punctuality
* Ability to work effectively in a team
* Physically fit to manually handle timber sections
