Chief Data Platform Architect Role
As a chief data platform architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a major enterprise data management initiative. This involves leading the design and implementation of complex data solutions that transform enterprise data capabilities.
* Lead the design and implementation of ERP data cleanse and migration solutions, developing strategies to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.
* Architect and deliver consolidated and extended enterprise data platforms, integrating big data technologies and cloud services.
* Develop technical architectures for large-scale data integration, ensuring high-volume data pipelines are secure and reliable.
* Design and implement complex ETL/ELT pipelines, providing data professionals with the tools they need to succeed.
* Mentor data professionals, uplift organisational capability and drive business growth through effective data management.
* Assess and recommend technologies, identify opportunities for improvement and provide architectural documentation, analysis reports and roadmaps.
* Produce high-quality technical documents, communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Expertise in large-scale data cleanse and migration, ideally ERP transformations, with a proven ability to design end-to-end, scalable and secure data architectures.
* Strong experience with BI/Analytics integration, high-volume data pipelines and data modelling, with mastery of storage solutions for high-concurrency workloads.
* Experience architecting solutions on major public cloud platforms, with excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
