Job Description:
The role of this position involves managing all administration functions of a unit.
* Provide day-to-day confidential and effective high-level administrative support to the manager and other personnel within the unit.
* Manage the manager's schedule and day-to-day workflow to meet established priorities and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
* Support the manager in monitoring and evaluating regional human resource management systems, staff establishment, and associated staffing issues, including maintaining an accurate data spreadsheet.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
* Well-developed written and oral communication skills to confidently liaise with senior management and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of government financial management practices to develop and maintain effective administrative systems and procedures.
* Ability to provide administrative support, especially in relation to work practices relating to investigations.
* Proficiency in using relevant software packages, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
