Position Summary :
The Science Laboratory Manager plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality science education by managing the day-to-day operations of the school's science laboratory. This includes preparing materials for practical lessons, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and supporting teaching staff in the implementation of the science curriculum.
* Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time Position
* Term Time Only
The successful applicant will have :
* Completion of relevant Diploma / Certificate IV and appropriate work-related experience.
* Strong understanding of WHS regulations and laboratory safety procedures.
* Knowledge and understanding of the use of Hazardous substances, Risk Assessments, Safety Data Sheets and GHS for chemical.
* Experience working in a laboratory and knowledge and understanding of the latest developments in laboratory technician practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Good communication skills – written and oral.
* Ability to be organised, plan and meet schedules.
* The ability to report incidents accurately and maintain confidentiality.
* Current Working with Children Check (NSW WWCC).
* Membership of a local Christian church or community
