The Role: Technical Maintenance Manager
Join our Above Water Systems team and play a key role in supporting major Naval and Commercial projects. You'll be at the centre of urgent maintenance activities – working closely with customers and technical experts to deliver fast, practical solutions that keep assets safe, operational, and mission‐ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear and confident guidance.
- Develop and coordinate urgent repair plans in line with service level agreements.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to diagnose issues and deliver practical solutions.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to prioritise and secure critical parts.
- Coordinate on‐site repair activities, ensuring alignment with operational schedules.
- Monitor progress, manage costs, and ensure quality and compliance requirements are met.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Trade or engineering qualification with 5 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in Combat Systems or Marine Engineering (highly regarded).
- Proficient in MS Office and maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and follow through.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Highly organised with strong problem‐solving and coordination skills.
