Geriatrician Opportunities
We are seeking a specialist Geriatrician to join our multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive care for older adults across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
About the Role:
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in geriatric medicine, including acute geriatrics, orthogeriatrics, cognitive assessment, and rehabilitation.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across General Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Community Health.
* Lead and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and discharge planning.
* Support junior doctors, medical students, and allied health professionals through supervision and education.
Requirements:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated experience and interest in comprehensive geriatric assessment, cognitive health, and multidisciplinary team care.
* Experience in teaching and quality improvement activities.
