Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre is seeking a community-minded Administration Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy and welcoming Centre.
This is a varied, people-focused role that plays a vital part in ensuring our programs and services operate efficiently and remain responsive to community needs.
Key Responsibilities
Front-of-house reception and responding to phone, email, and in-person enquiries
Coordinating room bookings and maintaining booking systems
Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
Preparing statistics, reports, correspondence, and documents
Supporting accounts and invoicing functions using MYOB
Working collaboratively with staff, volunteers, community groups, and external partners
About You
You will bring:
Demonstrated administration experience
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to compile data and maintain accurate databases
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
A friendly, inclusive, and professional approach
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team
Commitment to confidentiality and professional practice
Experience working in a not-for-profit environment or alongside marginalised or vulnerable people is desirable but not essential.
