Overview
Join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. You will perform maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems, working hands-on to keep aircraft mission ready.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
- Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
- Maintain Quality Assurance procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
- Prioritize Environmental Health & Safety and the well-being of all personnel.
What You Will Bring To BDA
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
- Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
- Current driver’s licence.
Desirable
- Previous experience with Military aircraft.
- Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence.
