Role Description
This is an exciting full-time role for a Sales Representative in the Agricultural Industry looking for the opportunity to step up and prove themselves, with Australia's fastest growing fencing brand. You will be working alongside a fast moving, hard working, innovative and energetic team of young people that are leading a wave of change in the way rural stores sell fencing hardware throughout Australia. This role will involve extensive travel throughout southern half of NSW, with 2-3 days of on-road face-to-face selling per week, field days and industry conferences. This is a strenuous but rewarding role that will suit a younger candidate looking to increase their experience and their remuneration while gaining Territory management credentials with a leading rural brand. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, as well as developing new business opportunities. A readiness and courage to take on new methods and align themselves with Rotech's brand strategy and the company values will be the deciding factors for the successful candidate. A commitment to use consultative selling methods and the ability to sell a high value premium brand on its credentials will be mandatory.
Qualifications
- Confident but humble enough to accept constructive feedback
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Be able to demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the agricultural industry an advantage
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Accept responsibility for meeting personal performance indicators
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - above average IT skills
- ATAR
- Physically demanding job involving heavy lifting and handling large and heavy fencing products and shelving systems for store merchandise set ups - pre-employment Medical check required
