The Role
The Content Developer, Regulatory Systems plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of change initiatives within the NQA IT System workplace. This involves creating high-quality, accessible, and user-focused content, including training materials, onboarding guides, release notes, and instructional resources, all designed to enhance user experience.
The Content Developer collaborates closely with the Project Change Lead and cross-functional teams to ensure that the content aligns with project timelines, meets stakeholder needs, and adheres to accessibility standards.
This role is full time and fixed-term (9 months) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039).
The key duties of the position include
Key Accountabilities
Content Creation & Management
• Develop and maintain training materials, onboarding guides, release notes, and instructional content tailored to various user groups.
• Use tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Scribe, and Jira to create, manage, and publish content.
• Ensure all content complies with WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines and is inclusive for diverse audiences.
• Maintain version control and ensure documentation is updated in line with system changes and releases.
Collaboration, Teamwork & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with the Project Change Lead, product managers, business analysts, developers, and support teams to gather knowledge and translate technical information into user-friendly content.
• Support stakeholder communications and contribute to change rollout activities through clear and engaging content.

• Demonstrate a willingness to seek opportunities to build and share knowledge and skills.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
• Review and refine content based on user feedback, adoption metrics, and change performance data.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing supporting materials and capturing feedback.
• Promote best practices in content development and accessibility across the team.
Documentation & Compliance
• Ensure all content is documented, traceable, and compliant with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to briefs, reports, project plans and respond to regular and at times urgent requests for information and progress updates, as required.
• Support audit and review processes by maintaining accurate records of content development and delivery.
