What You'll Do:
As an independent contractor using CareVicinity, you'll use our marketplace to match with clients in your local area and provide care services that matter, including:
* Companionship & social support.
* Daily assistance – meal prep, errands, transport.
* Personal care – showering, toileting, mobility (requires additional qualifications).
* Light household duties – cleaning, gardening.
* Nursing – wound care, medication management (requires additional qualifications).
* Allied Health – Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics (requires additional qualifications).
You choose what types of care you offer based on your qualifications and preferences.
Who We're Looking For:
People who are empathetic, responsible and dependable, especially those who:
* Are experienced in aged care, disability, mental health, or general support work.
* Are looking to work independently with support from a trusted platform.
What You'll Need:
* The right to work in Australia
* An Australian Business Number (ABN)
* A valid Police Check (within 3 years)
* Two references (character or professional)
* Relevant qualifications if offering personal or nursing care (e.g., Cert III, AHPRA reg)
* Vehicle and comprehensive insurance if offering transport
Nice to have:
* First Aid Certificate
* Manual Handling Certificate
* CPR

What About the Pay?
Using CareVicinity as an independent contractor means you set your own rate. We simply deduct a 12.5% platform fee to help us provide you with the above benefits. There are no other hidden costs or fees, you earn what you deserve.
