Could you be our next Accountants Receivable Supervisor?
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the direction, execution, and performance of the Franchise Accounting and Accounts Receivable functions. With 4 direct reports, you will lead and mentor a team, ensuring they are well-equipped to partner effectively with stakeholders and deliver exceptional service.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
1. Team Leadership : Mentor and develop your team, ensuring they are well-trained and supported to excel in their roles
2. Financial Oversight : Oversee the monthly Franchise direct debit process, review complex calculations for rent, rebates, and charge-outs, and serve as an escalation point for any Franchise or debtor queries
3. Compliance and Quality : Ensure SOX compliance, customer satisfaction, and effective resolution of queries by gathering feedback and proactively managing issue resolution
4. Process Improvement : Drive improvement projects related to Order to Cash (OTC), with a focus on adding value by understanding customer needs and leading OTC transformation
5. Collaboration : Coordinate with internal and external compliance teams for audits and manage corrective actions as required
6. Data Integrity : Thoroughly review rent changes in the Tririga system, monitor data integrity, and address discrepancies promptly
7. Financial Reporting : Conduct monthly reviews of reconciliations and reporting and proactively manage balance sheet accounts
8. Risk Management : Conduct regular risk assessments, identify potential risks, and develop risk mitigation plans

9. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or relevant equivalent qualifications
10. Prior experience supervising an Accounts Receivable or Assistant Accounting team

19. Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or a company with a franchising model
20. Experience in a Shared Service/Global Business Service model

23. Studying or have completed CPA/CA qualification
