The award-winning Miami Bakehouse is Western Australia's largest retail bakery. Our head bakery is located in Mandurah where we supply our 6 company owned retail stores across WA's southwest. **The Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to be an integral part of our team. Reporting to the Production Manager you will supervise the day-to-day operations of the savoury department. This is a full-time hands-on role with a 5-day working week across Monday - Saturday. Shifts times are generally 7am - 3pm. This role will include public holidays. $68,000 plus Superannuation
**Your responsibilities**:
- Leadership and day to day management of the savoury production team
- Manage department performance to meet KPI's (labour and waste)
- Roster and coordinate staff (6-8 staff)
- Production scheduling
- Quality control and waste manage
- Stock control and ordering
- Ensure food safety compliance
**About you**:
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Food manufacturing/handling experience (baking qualification NOT required)
- Excellent ability to effectively lead a team and maintain a positive working environment
- Hands on approach - lead your team from the front
- Robust time management and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and numeracy skills
- Highly Desirable: Understanding of sound manufacturing / production processes (5S / Six Sigma etc.)
Please note: You do not need to be a Baker or Pastrycook to succeed in this role.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
