Job Description:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing analytics solutions to address business challenges and creating reports to support operational decision-making using advanced analytical techniques.
The role involves working with various stakeholders to understand their data requirements and developing appropriate models or algorithms to effectively resolve complex problems.
Additionally, you will create robust reporting systems to support business streams and ensure the organization is set up for success.
You will also be responsible for enhancing documentation and governance processes to ensure repeatability and auditability of processes.
Furthermore, you will drive strategy and efficiency by contributing to the long-term strategy of the business unit and simplifying people and business processes to support the organization's goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Advanced Analytics Experience: You should have demonstrated experience in an advanced analytics role, solving complex business problems with analytics.
* Analytics Tools Proficiency: You should have a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with analytics tools.
* Big Data Technologies: Experience with Big Data technologies is desirable.
* Power BI Expertise: You should have experience with Power BI, including building and managing reports and dashboards.
* Working Experience: You should have experience with Azure, Insurance and credit/risk experience will be highly regarded as this role works with our team supporting the Insurance business.
* Stakeholder Engagement: You should have proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Educational Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, such as Business or Statistics.
