About Our Client:
Multiple Federal Government clients are requesting to see Baseline Cleared Policy Specialist Profiles NOW to prepare for the new financial year.
Be responsible for monitoring rising issues, identifying the impact of these on operational priorities and implementing agreed actions.
Build positive and collaborative relationships with other areas of the department, Commonwealth agencies, state and territory agencies and industry representatives.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team, building both individual and team capacity to undertake roles efficiently and professionally and meet the expected satisfactory standards of quality and consistency.
Actively support and demonstrate leadership to contribute to achievement of the strategic direction and priorities.
Be part of developing a high-performing team, including supporting a culture of inclusion and diversity
The Successful Applicant:
Strong research, analytical and conceptual thinking skills to support high quality and timely policy advice
Proven ability of providing strong leadership and management skills
Proven ability of building capability and providing support to your team managing demanding workloads and external stakeholder engagements
Experience in all aspects of the policy process - research, development, review and evaluation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive and cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, across all levels
Solutions-focused, work well under pressure, and can adapt to competing demands and changing priorities
A degree and 5+ years experience in a relevant discipline such as public policy, economics or law
Mandatory:
Must be Australian Citizen
Baseline Security Clearance is generally required
