Work on high-impact initiatives that help communities thrive Multiple Clerk Grade 9/10, ongoing opportunities, based in New England and Orange About the Role We are looking for two Senior Regional Coordination Officers to join the Infrastructure and Regional Coordination Branch on an ongoing basis, based in New England and Orange. As our Senior Regional Coordination Officer, you will lead complex policy, project, and coordination work to support the delivery of the Government's priorities across NSW. You will manage cross-agency initiatives, provide high-quality briefings and reports for senior government leaders, and support key decision-making processes. In this rewarding role, you will engage with government agencies, councils, industry, and community stakeholders to ensure regional priorities are understood and addressed. You will coordinate whole-of-government responses, manage stakeholder relationships, and represent the Department in negotiations. Your ability to analyse issues, drive projects, and provide strategic advice will be essential in delivering positive outcomes for regional communities. We're Looking For Expertise in leading and coordinating complex policy, project, and stakeholder engagement initiatives, particularly in a government or inter-agency context Strong knowledge in government operations, including Ministerial roles, agency functions, and whole-of-government priorities, with an understanding of regional challenges and policy responses Holds a current driver's licence and is willing to travel as required to engage with stakeholders across regional NSW Proven ability to analyse complex issues, develop strategic advice, and prepare high-quality briefings, reports, and correspondence for senior leaders and decision-makers Possesses a high level of knowledge of regional issues and priorities Demonstrated experience in building and managing effective relationships with government agencies, councils, industry, and community stakeholders to achieve collaborative outcomes Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and navigate sensitive negotiations while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality outcomes.
