About the Role
As a
Placement Manager
, you will recruit, place, and actively manage labour hire and recruitment candidates and employers across Western Australia. This is a majority work-from-home role, with occasional site visits and client meetings across WA (travel supported). This offers flexibility and autonomy, balanced with on-the-ground engagement when required.
Lived experience is central to this role. Your insight will support strong relationships with candidates and clients and help create sustainable employment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, screen, and place labour hire and recruitment candidates
* Manager and mentor candidates on assignment, including attendance, performance, and well-being
* Support onboarding, licences, tickets, and site inductions
* Maintain regular contact with labour hire clients
* Proactively resolve issues before they escalate
* Ensure compliance, documentation, and systems are up to date
* Coordinate with payroll and operations for smooth weekly processing
* Attend site visits or client meetings as required
* New business meetings and management of onboarding new clients

Essential Criteria
* Lived experience of the justice system
* Minimum 2 years experience in recruitment or labour hire - Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment OR transferable skills from call centre/customer service roles
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
* Comfortable working independently in a majority work-from-home environment
* WA driver's licence
* Strong relationship-building skills with clients and candidates
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
* Must have strong computer skills, managing databases, mentoring updates, teams meetings, etc.
* Flexibility to work across various industries and locations
