**Role Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
1. Manage and provide leadership to a team of communication and events professionals, guiding their professional and career development.
2. Work with internal and external stakeholders to lead the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's events program.
3. Establish performance outcomes and measures for key project goals, defining monitoring, reporting, and communication requirements.
4. Oversee the implementation of public relations and social media plans, disseminating the organization's products, and integrating with existing marketing and communications strategies.
5. Identify trends and innovations in the discipline of events and communications to ensure effective practices.
**Requirements**
* Significant experience in planning and coordinating marketing communications, public relations, and events.
* Experience in managing projects to completion within agreed scope, budget, and success criteria.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in marketing and communications software.
* Advanced writing and editing skills.
* Relevant qualification in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline.
