 
        
        We are looking for an experienced engineering professional with exceptional civil design knowledge and experience to be a part of leading Councils Engineering Design Services Team.
- Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week).
- Remuneration package of $4,101.76 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $4,922.11 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Proven experience in road, stormwater and sewer design, with knowledge of civil construction methods, project and contract management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and core design software such as 12d Model, Civil3D, and AutoCAD. 
Experience with SewerGEMS, GIS, and hydrology tools (TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, WaterRIDE) is highly regarded.
- Strong background in delivering complex capital works projects and applying engineering skills in contract management and administration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff, including Graduate and Design Engineers.
- Excellent time management, organisational, financial, and administrative skills, with sound business planning and computer literacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and present effectively.
As the successful applicant, you will have: 
1. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
2. Class C Driver’s Licence.
3. General Construction Induction Training Card (White).
4. Registration (or suitability for immediate registration) with the following engineering registers:
- Chartered Professional Engineer Register (CPEng)
- National Engineering Register (NER)
