Full Time Head Chef
to join the Chatham Food Store. In the leafy suburb of Surrey Hills (Vic).
Position to commence mid - late January ****.
The person must be a team player, flexible based on business requirements, well presented, passionate about food with a cheerful outlook and professional in their approach with an eye for detail.
?ur core business is the preparation of restaurant quality take home meals for retail and wholesale and Corporate catering in our fast online growing business.
The hours offered and remuneration are negotiable commensurate with the relevant experience.
Standard working hours are day shifts with no late nights required.

This position will suit the individual who is seeking work life balance no late nights closed Sundays.
Advantage for those applicants who have experience in Patisserie as we would like to increase production of these items and also introduce more offerings in this section eg. celebration cakes, French pastries and alike.
What we are looking for ?
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
At least 5+ years' experience in a similar role(s).
Food production and catering experience will be considered for the 5-year experience requirement.
Experience in production of prepared meals we will also provide training for all meal preparation.
Experienced in Patisserie.
Patisserie experience is strongly preferred for this role.
Attention to detail in presentation of meals.
Ability to follow Recipes for Take Home Meals.
Works well in a team environment.
Outcome Focused.
High level trustworthiness.
Exceptional time management skills.
Forecasting Labour Cost.
Food & Safety Management Program including Batch Control.
Maintain General Cleaning Compliance Program.
Ability to work composed in stressful stages of operations.
Advance Culinary knowledge.
