The Opportunity
BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join the operations based in Townsville. Our Distribution business includes quality brands such as Orrcon Distribution, BlueScope Distribution, Metalcorp and Impact Steel.

This is a hands-on role where you'll operate forklifts and overhead cranes to prepare customer orders, check product quality, and work safely alongside a great group of people. No two days are the same, and full training is provided – so you don't need to have done this before to succeed
This role is a Monday-Friday position working 8.30am-4.30pm, with the intent on moving to our afternoon shift down the track (2pm-10pm).
What will you do?
* safely operating gantry cranes and forklifts to load/unload trucks
* picking and packing orders with accuracy
* learn how to operate process machinery
* general warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly
* working as part of a friendly, safety-focused team
You'll be provided with ongoing training and development, giving you the opportunity to progress to within our salary framework.
