About Pirie VoicesLaunching in 2025, Pirie Voices is a groundbreaking community-led initiative that brings people together to co-create a more inclusive, connected, and thriving Port Pirie. It’s a collaboration between local stakeholders including the Port Pirie Regional Council, Preventive Health SA, Uniting Country SA, Workforce Australia – Local Jobs, The Country Counsellor, Nyrstar, Centacare Catholic Country SA, Department of Human Services, Country Arts SA, and Workskil Australia. This initiative moves away from traditional service-provider models and instead focuses on empowering residents to drive the changes that matter most to them – socially, economically, and culturally. The RoleAs the Pirie Voices Coordinator, you will:Serve as a key liaison between the community and project partners.Engage with community members to capture their ideas, experiences, and aspirations.Facilitate collaboration and partnerships across local organisations and residents.Coordinate community-driven activities and workshops that promote inclusion and shared leadership.Contribute to the long-term vision of a stronger, more connected Port Pirie.
