We're looking for a hands‐on and solutions‐oriented Inventory Controller to join our team in Ashburton.
In this role, you'll work closely with our category team, finance team, and other departments to ensure our operations run efficiently and with a focus on delivering to the customer.

What you'll be doing:
* Take ownership of accurate and efficient inventory management across our seed, chemical, and fertiliser stock — ensuring we can always deliver for our customers.
* Maintain master inventory data in our ERP.
* Process purchase orders.
* Calculate landed costs.
* Generate reports to support category planning and management decisions.
* Work closely with our category team on various inventory tasks and liaise with suppliers and the sales team to keep stock moving smoothly.
* Pitch in across other areas of the business when needed — no two days will be exactly the same.
We're looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a similar administrative role
* Is confident working across multiple systems (experience with ERP or inventory platforms is a must)
* Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
* Has a track record of continuous improvement
* Enjoys working as part of a team and stepping in to help others succeed
* Demonstrates flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive, solutions‐driven approach
