Senior fire system inspector

Offer description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Systems Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and testing of fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and client requirements.


Key Responsibilities

* Conduct monthly six-monthly inspections and testing of Fire Detection Control Indicating Equipment Water Storage Tanks.
* Conduct six-monthly inspections and testing of other essential systems.
* Complete service documentation logbooks and compliance reports accurately and on time.
* Identify and report deficiencies, faults and non-compliance in systems.
* Perform minor repairs and adjustments as required.
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication of service outcomes.
* Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain compliance with relevant standards.


Requirements

Mandatory:

* Current Manual Driver's Licence.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* White Card Construction Induction.
* Basic computer literacy and proficiency in service reporting apps/software.
* Previous experience in fire protection inspections and testing services.
* Exposure to relevant Australian Standards AS1851 AS2293 AS2118 AS2419 AS2441.
* Accreditation(s) or Certificate II/III in Fire Protection.
