Introduction:
You'll move into a strategically important role. You will be working with our existing customers to ensure their needs are meet, as they transition into a digital mine. This position requires a focus on both internal and external customers.
As a part of the role, we are committed to providing training on our MST Core products which we have engineered and built in house.
Description:
Typical daily tasks include:
* Management of customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction of key stakeholders on site.
* Transfer of knowledge as required to Field staff to ensure continuity of delivery
* Identify sales growth opportunities
* Development & management of territory and account sales plans to achieve company objectives.
* Creation of quotes within the MST ERP system.
* Opportunity funnel magnet / follow through order completion from Quote to delivery
* Identify continual product improvement opportunities
* Maintain scheduled customer meetings for relationship and business opportunity development.
Everyone at MST is responsible for safety and you will ensure a culture and practice of safety compliance is maintained on all worksites.
Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
* 5+years' experience in a Technical sales / account management or similar role
* Technical/Trade qualification in Electronics Engineering, Communications or IT Solutions Architecture, highly regarded but not essential
* Experience in Surface or Underground mining and Hazardous Areas (desirable)
* A sound understanding of the mining market and ecosystem
* Adequate experience and capability in computing programs / Microsoft / salesforce / BI tools
* Excellent understanding of human behaviour, high emotional intelligence with the capacity to thrive under pressure
* Excellent time management
* A valid driver's license
