On behalf of our client, one of the world's leading integrated energy companies, we are looking for an HSE Specialist to join their team.
**About this role**
- Undertaking safeguard assurance verification and validation activities for high-consequence work scopes
- Facilitating incident investigations and learning events using company approved incident investigation methodologies (e.g., 5-Whys, SAFE, Why-tree and Learning Teams)
- Building productive working relationships across HSE, Business Partners and other support teams to facilitate alignment and execution efficiency of HSE activities and processes.
- Acting as member of the site Emergency Management Team, including participation in emergency management exercises.
**About you**
- Practical understanding of updated OE management system and Human and Organisational (HOP) concepts, to support fatality and serious incident prevention efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build respectful and trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders including site leaders and the broader workforce including frontline personnel and business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to be a visible HSE professional that adjusts communication styles to influence improvements in fatality and serious incident prevention efforts and act as a conduit for the workforce to raise barriers to HSE performance and share learning opportunities.
- Qualifications in HSE
- Relevant HSE experience
- Experience working on an oil and gas facility
- Australian Full working rights
