Job Description
The Role:
* Leading the NSW sales function to achieve sales, margin and profitability targets, driving sustainable growth across all business units.
* Guiding and assisting sales personnel from the identification of sales prospects and initial enquiries through to negotiations and supply.
* Managing, mentoring, developing and motivating sales staff and measuring their performance against agreed objectives.
* Preparing technical proposals and quotations and managing the sales process.
* Assessing local market conditions, identifying current and prospective sales opportunities and developing forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the state.
* Designing and implementing technical training programs in conjunction with Group Vendors and internal / external sources to maintain desired skills sets within the branch.
* Constantly monitoring pricing structures and market prices to ensure the prime objectives of budgeted sales and margins are met.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful you will need:
* At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience, preferably in the HVAC industry
* Experience in managing staff and leading a sales team
* To be highly motivated, hands on and committed to achieving sales growth
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organisation and with customers
