If you are in the early stage of your HR career and are looking for the next step, we encourage you to apply as there is on-the-job development.Maximum Term 12 months (parental leave cover - option to extend)Monday to FridayRDO/flexible work arrangements availableThis position will:Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.Support hiring managers in effective recruitment and selection.Accurately interpret and provide sound advice to leaders on company policies, National Employment Standards, awards, and certified agreement conditions.Support leaders in issue resolution and contribute to other people programs including performance planning and reviews.Contribute to other operational goals and HR/IR activity as may be reasonably required from time to time.The HR Department supports on-the-job learning and development to build and expand on HR and IR skills, knowledge, and experience across the employee lifecycle.To be successful you will have:Degree qualification in Human Resources or similar (desirable) and/or equivalent years of relevant experience.Experience with recruitment and selection, of a geographically dispersed blue-collar workforce.Comprehensive understanding of industrial frameworks, i.e., legislation, awards, agreements.Experience providing guidance to leaders in managing people and complying with company policies and standards.Able to liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills.This position may on occasion be required to travel and work onsite to support site leaders and employees.
