Are you an organized, proactive, and hands-on leader with a knack for managing teams? We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to help drive our operations to the next level!
Job Summary:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe handling of inventory, goods, and materials. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, implementing process improvements, and maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity.
Duties (including, but not limited too):
General warehousing, dispatch, transport and adherence to safety policies
* Supervise and prioritize all warehouse staff duties, overseeing daily warehouse activities and ensure full productivity
* Manage the daily volume of all inbound and outbound orders to ensure they are completed within expected timeframes in a safe and secure manner
* Ensure our products are delivered to customers on time, and in full.
* Manage inbound and outbound processes, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping.
* Oversee a safe work environment for all staff and visitors
* Provide leadership to the warehouse team, creating a positive and motivating work environment to drive optimal performance.
* Maintain robust inventory control systems through regular stock takes and cycle counts, ensuring discrepancies are promptly resolved and high levels of accuracy are maintained.
* Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of warehouse equipment, conducting routine inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
* Monitor and order warehouse goods.
* Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
Role Requirements:
* Forklift ticket - IS A MUST.
* A current Driver's License is essential for this position (provisional/learners licenses will not be accepted)
* Able to lead a Container Unload/Load Team
* Great communicator and excellent customer service focus
* Pragmatic outside of the box thinker when it comes to problem solving
* Punctual and honest
* Competent computer skills especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, shipping, and receiving.
* Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage changing priorities with ease.
* You will be able to demonstrate a level of physical ability to lift products of up to 20kg goods from time to time.
* Our ideal candidate has experience in supervising/Managing a Warehouse
* Minimum 12 months experience as a supervisor
* People management skills
* Strong work ethic - we are looking for reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
