Process Engineer – Dubbo
Central West NSW – Dubbo site. This is a rare FMCG manufacturing role and a career development opportunity in a growing pet‑food business that is changing the game in fresh pet food.
As a result of our Transformation Plans and commitment to continual innovation in manufacturing, we are looking for a Process Engineer to optimise and improve our manufacturing processes on our busy Dubbo site.
We are unashamedly moving toward a manufacturing site that harnesses the value in automation, and we are constantly looking at advances in equipment and technology that work toward this goal.
What you’ll do
- Analyse, design and enhance production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Our Dubbo site runs a number of production lines where we manufacture ambient kibble for our brands, Ivory Coat, Stockman and Paddock.
- Lead and participate in Lean, Six Sigma or CI initiatives. You will be part of a broader Operations and Maintenance team and working collaboratively is essential.
- Monitor manufacturing process performance and deliver quality and productivity improvements. Our equipment is a mix of old and new.
- Develop SOPs, documentation and provide training to production staff.
- Support new product and process scale‑up projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or related Engineering field.
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Strong Excel and Power BI skills to analyse data and identify opportunities.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other CI methodologies.
- A proactive, curious mindset with great problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork – you’re someone who gets things done.
