About the Role
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics) to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. This role involves maintaining and repairing Dash 8 Q200, Q300, and Q400 aircraft, ensuring safety and compliance with aviation standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and reassembling aircraft engines, components, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections;
* Maintaining detailed service records;
* Assembling aircraft engine components and equipment;
* Testing and upgrading safety equipment.
Minimum Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience with Dash 8 Q200, Q300, or Q400 aircraft (or similar turboprop aircraft);
* Trade Certificate IV in Mechanical, Structures, or Avionics;
* Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills;
* Team player with good communication skills;
* Ability to follow supervisory instructions;
* Valid work visa, Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain), and current Australian Driver's license.
Work Conditions
Rotating shifts including day and night, with potential for permanent night shifts. Candidates must be available to work in Brisbane and commit to flexible working arrangements.
