Employment Conditions: Full Time Contract
Salary: $72,745.05 - $75,806.90 per annum. Salary packaging up to $15,899.94 p/a.
Reports to: Assets and Property Manager

About the Role
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for maintaining the grounds of all Anyinginyi Health properties, both business and residential, ensuring the maintenance of all building needs and providing assistance in contracts, stores reception, hazardous waste disposal, and contractor requirements for new building upgrades where directed.
They play an integral part in the high standard of presentation and maintenance of Anyinginyi buildings and services to internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
* Maintain grounds of all properties, including gardening, irrigation systems, and small engine maintenance.
* Identify recurring gardening and maintenance requirements and complete necessary documentation for task reporting.
* Communicate and respond to personnel in a diverse working environment.
* Work reliably with a high level of quality, unsupervised and as part of a team.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Respect for traditional Aboriginal culture and cultural diversity.
* Effective communication skills within a culturally diverse workplace.
* Previous experience or qualifications in gardening, labouring or maintenance.
* Current NT Driver's Licence, free from any restrictions.
* Current OCHRE Card.
* Preferred to be fully COVID‐19 vaccinated.
* National Police Clearance.
Desirable
* 4WD licence.
About You
To be considered, you must maintain respect for traditional culture and cultural diversity, have the ability to communicate effectively, and possess a current NT Driver's License. Previous experience in gardening, labouring or maintenance is highly regarded but not mandatory.
