Job Description
The role of Court Services Officer is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of change in the Queensland court system. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Court Services Queensland registries.
You will work closely with the judiciary, providing frontline services to court users on a daily basis. This may involve responding to enquiries, requests, issues and complaints in a trauma-aware and compassionate manner.
Key responsibilities include unlocking and preparing courtrooms for scheduled sittings, administering oaths and affirmations, and maintaining security, care and control of jurors. You will also hand out exhibits and other documents in court as required and test and operate courtroom technology and equipment.
