Eskleigh Foundation is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Youth Workers to join our team in the Devonport area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in Out of Home Care and help create a safe, stable, and empowering environment. This is a casual position.
About the Role
As a Youth Worker, you will:
Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and positive role-modelling to young people.
Deliver trauma-informed care and maintain a calm, supportive presence.
Assist with personal care tasks as required.
Support young people to build independence, emotional regulation, and life skills.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation and follow established procedures.
Availability Requirements
You must be available to work a mixed roster including:
7am – 3pm shifts

3pm – 11pm shifts plus sleepover (11pm – 7am)

What We're Looking For
Experience working with youth or in the community services sector (desirable).
Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Strong communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills.
Reliability, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
Comfortable providing personal care.
