Overview
Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join their team in Western Australia. This role is FIFO Perth on an 8:6 roster.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the onsite laboratory team, ensuring safe and efficient operations;
* Oversee sample preparation, analysis, reporting, and QA/QC processes for gold and associated minerals;
* Collaborate with operational teams to provide timely and reliable laboratory results;
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations;
* Manage staff schedules, training, and performance;
* Must have completed S26 course.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a laboratory supervisory role, preferably within mining or metallurgical operations;
* Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, QA/QC procedures, and reporting standards;
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills;
* Relevant qualifications in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or equivalent;
* Practical experience with AAS;
* Practical Aqua Regia and/or operating analytical equipment experience preferred.
* Must have completed S26 course.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in Gold Processing Plants.
