Oncall Language Services (Oncall) has been providing language services to support our clients for 40 years. The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Manager for this fulltime, ongoing opportunity who will:
* Lead and oversee the organisation's recruitment and talent acquisition processes
* Support leaders in making data-informed hiring and workforce planning decisions and ensure workforce planning aligns with operational needs
* Lead and manage employee relations matters including performance management
* Provide practical and commercially sound HR advice to managers in line with Australian employment law
* Maintain strong governance across HR processes including recruitment approvals, probation reviews, role classification and remuneration changes
* Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment frameworks remain compliant and up to date with applicable legislation
* Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes, systems and workflows across the employee lifecycle
* Support compliance with workplace health and safety obligations in accordance with applicable State & Federal legislation
* Promote a professional, accountable and high-performing workplace culture
What we're looking for
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR management or senior HR advisory role
* Strong experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations and complex HR issues
* Demonstrated knowledge of Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards (Clerks Award highly desirable) and Fair Work Commission processes
* Experience supporting senior leadership teams and providing practical HR advice in operational environments
* Understanding of WHS obligations and experience working within multi-state workforce environments
* Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance compliance with operational needs
* Confident advising and influencing senior leaders on complex people matters
* Professional, calm and measured when managing sensitive or challenging situations
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced service environment
* Experience within professional services, contact centres or service delivery organisations (desirable)
* Exposure to supporting tender submissions (desirable)
* Experience working with broader Executive Leadership Team members (desirable)
