POSITION
We have a full-time position for a Quality Assurance Inspector available in Atherton QLD 4883.
SKILLS
You require at least a Certificate IV level qualification and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role as the Quality Assurance Inspector is to assist the Field Manager to execute the farms production objectives in an efficient and timely manner focusing on produce quality.
TASKS
The position will require you to perform the following tasks;
* Consultancy and planning with managers to meet production objectives.
* Conducting quality control checks on pickers, both at the table and in the field, for fruit colour, damage, bloom, picking scars, and insect damage.
* Ensure farm hygiene standards are being adhered to, specifically relating to; hand washing, nail length and jewellery
* Work with current pickers in the field to ensure they are spaced out correctly, picking and sorting correctly, storing buckets in the shade, and not missing fruit.
* Implementing food safety and quality guidelines and ensure records are maintained and up to date.
* Conduct field assessments and data collection on plant heath, soil moisture and fruit quality.
* Complete regular equipment hygiene checks in the field.
* Review picking team training and support.
* Ensure waste is disposed of in the correct manner.
* Ensures farm biosecurity measures and procedures are followed.
* Additional duties may be required from time to time as required by the business.
SALARY
The salary offered will be $65,000 to $80,000 per annum negotiated based on your experience.
