**About the role**
With our growth plans in Australia, we require a Full time stock controller to join our existing stock team to boost our capacity to configure, prepare, and manage hardware. You will be based in our Pyrmont office as this requires you to be working on-site. You may also be tasked to perform some on-the-road activities as part of our fleet management but this will be on a case-by-case basis.
**In this role, you’ll be**:
- Performing day-to-day stock inventory and management tasks
- Processing new stock as per requirements
- Scanning incoming stock in the system
- Preparing stock for customer use
- Performing regular maintenance on faulty devices as required
- Processing and posting mail-outs to customers
- Reporting on key stock-related metrics on a weekly basis
- Picking up and processing incoming returns
- Preparing stock for pick-up and assisting with the pick-up of stock by fulfilment centre
- Complete regular stock takes to keep stock level stats up to date
- Manage storing, handling and labelling of incoming and outgoing stock
**To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have**:
- A year’s experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets - either Google Sheets or MS Excel
- Previous experience in inventory management, record keeping, and performing maintenance as per provided manual is preferred but not required
- High level of organisational skills
- Record-keeping and basic data analysis skills, including data manipulation, trend interpretation, and outlier detection
- Technical background with proficiency in following directions and instructions for device repairs and setup
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactiveness - sharing best practices and ideas to improve processes
- Relationship-building skills, team player spirit
