Coach - Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) - Townsville Community Learning Centre - A State Special School
Job Summary:As the PBL Coach, you will assist the Principal to lead the school community in developing, articulating, and committing to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
You will support the quality of teaching and learning across the school, and nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead the school community in fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Lead the development and consistent implementation of the school's Positive Behaviour for Learning framework, building staff capacity through coaching and collaboration, and using data-informed practices to enhance student wellbeing and engagement.
Lead and model pedagogical reform to strengthen school-wide systems that promote positive behaviour, improve student outcomes, and nurture strong relationships between students, staff, families, and the wider community.
Qualifications
A relevant teaching qualification.
Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programmes) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
