About the Role
As an Educational Leader / Assistant Director, you'll play a central role in shaping learning, culture, and professional growth:
* Mentor educators to plan and implement a play-based, child-led program
* Guide educators and families in understanding play and leisure-based learning
* Support educators to create inspiring, engaging learning environments
* Assist in developing thoughtful, age-appropriate teaching programs
* Foster meaningful, respectful relationships with families and children
* Build strong foundations for children's holistic learning and wellbeing
* Lead a high-quality culture grounded in the EYLF and NQF
* Share your professional knowledge with confidence and clarity
* Collaborate with the Nominated Supervisor to drive continuous improvement
* Uphold child protection responsibilities and model safe, inclusive practice
* Communicate clearly and professionally with families and your team
About You
You bring heart, leadership, passion, and a genuine commitment to early education. You'll have:
* Diploma in Early Childhood (minimum), Bachelor preferred or studying
* Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong understanding of the EYLF & National Quality Framework
* Commitment to embracing our vision, values, and culture
* Ability to mentor, collaborate, and support a dynamic team
* A passion for inspiring educators and cultivating a positive learning culture
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
