* Managing procurement projects within the ICT Professional Services category
* Developing and implementing category strategies
* Explore opportunities with suppliers to introduce Gen AI
* Building strong relationships with suppliers
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure best value
* Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth implementation of projects
* Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
* Delivering best value of cost and delivery for the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
* A proactive approach to supplier engagement and understanding your market
* Strong negotiation skills
* Excellent understanding of procurement processes and strategies
* Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
* Be inquisitive for the use of Gen AI in your services that your procure
* Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
