Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Technician
The Role
Maintain all aspects of heavy vehicles to relevant state transport legislation and standards.
* Maintain all aspects of equipment to the suppliers standard or better.
* Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services.
* Perform fault diagnostics to detect mechanical and electrical faults.
* Repair or replace defective parts on all heavy vehicles and equipment.
* Ensure all hand tools and equipment are safe to use and stored clean and correctly.
About You
* Work close to home, in a local City area.
* Hold a Certificate III Automotive-Mechanical-Heavy Vehicle Road Transport qualification.
* Hold a Heavy Rigid license (as a minimum).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* Willing to take a Pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol testing.
