Senior Legal Counsel (Litigation Team)
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified solicitor with 5-10+ years' experience to join our Litigation Team in Sydney for a 12-month contract position.
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, insurance broking, and/or superannuation and be able to work independently within a dynamic litigation team supporting the insurance and superannuation businesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters related to insurance and superannuation.
* Review and draft responses to client and regulatory complaints.
* Conduct legal research and provide regulatory advice.
* Maintain legal registers, prepare reports, and manage document workflows.
* Support the development and scheduling of training sessions.
* Perform other legal duties as directed by the manager.

Requirements
* Law degree and hold a practising certificate in Australia.
* Proactive, highly organised, and able to work autonomously under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent drafting, writing, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
