The finance industry is constantly evolving and requires professionals with a wide range of skills to stay ahead. As a Finance Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team, gaining valuable experience through exposure to different finance functions.
This position involves taking on responsibilities within credit control, stock management process, weekly reports for senior management, and management accounts, as well as gaining experience in purchase ledger, T&A system functions, and purchasing as part of a rotation start to the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the credit control function, helping the business bring cash into the business.
* Take charge of the business stock take process, organizing the weekly and monthly stock takes, ensuring accuracy and improving processes.
* Support the health and safety officer and buyer with PPE vending machine usage, monitoring stock levels and employee usage.
* Prepare key weekly reports to senior managers within the division.
* Assist with the month-end process via the completion of reports such as the aged debtors report.
* Gain an understanding of financial and system controls through project work primarily based around the recent implementation of a new ERP system.
* Gain an understanding of the purchase ledger function through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed.
* Gain an understanding of the T&A system through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed.
* Gain an understanding of the buyers' responsibilities through a rotation programme and offer support and cover where needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and objectives.
* High proficiency in Excel and other computer systems.
* Familiarity with key accounting concepts.
