Job Role The Account Manager will be responsible for driving channel sales growth, managing partner relationships, and supporting business development initiatives across Australia. The role focuses on expanding distribution networks, strengthening vendor partnerships, supporting sales enablement activities, and ensuring the successful execution of regional commercial objectives. Working closely with distributors, resellers, technology partners, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a critical role in developing sustainable channel relationships, increasing market penetration, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a commercially driven professional who combines strong relationship management capabilities with a solid understanding of technology, software, and channel-based business models. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and business development objectives across assigned territories and partner networks. Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, resellers, channel partners, and strategic business stakeholders. Identify and develop new partnership opportunities to expand market coverage and strengthen channel performance. Conduct partner training, product briefings, and sales enablement activities to improve partner engagement and sales effectiveness. Monitor sales pipelines, partner performance, inventory levels, and revenue forecasts to support business planning and operational efficiency. Collaborate with marketing teams to support trade events, partner programs, customer engagement initiatives, and localized promotional activities. Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum 3 years of experience in channel sales, account management, business development, partner management, or B2B sales roles. Proven experience within information technology, enterprise software, SaaS, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or related technology industries. Strong experience managing distributors, resellers, channel partners, or indirect sales networks. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, managing customer relationships, and driving business growth through channel ecosystems. Strong understanding of channel sales models, partner enablement strategies, sales pipeline management, and business development processes. Experience utilizing CRM platforms, sales forecasting tools, and performance reporting systems. Knowledge of software solutions, SaaS business models, technology products, or consumer electronics markets is highly preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and commercial acumen.
