Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, Registered Nurses to join our highly skilled and multi-disciplinary Cardiac Cath Lab team.
The Cath Lab is a vibrant department where a diverse array of procedures is performed, including coronary angiography, pacing, minor structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care and coordinating and supervising care delivered by junior staff and students.
Permanent part-time positions are available; hours will be negotiated with successful candidates.
The Position
1. Provide direct total patient care to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and Care Paths.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of and operate in accordance with legislation affecting nursing practice, acknowledging accountability for own actions.
3. Ensure infection management policies and procedures are accessible, adhered to, and implemented.
4. Assist in completing incident, hazard, and injury reports.
5. Participate in documenting risk assessments and standard operating procedures for activities that pose OHS risks.
6. Communicate effectively with all customers and patients through appropriate channels, utilizing formal and informal communication methods.
You must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and recent clinical experience within a Cath Lab.
To succeed, you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.

1. Salary $68,093 to $96,175 (pro-rata for part-time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
