As the Functions Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the City's corporate, civic and ceremonial functions. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful events are delivered.
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating catering, supervising Food and Beverage Staff, providing advice and information to officers, overseeing the preparation of project plans, programmes, invitations, and seating charts, arranging the purchase and delivery of minor procurements, maintaining equipment, and managing consumable stocks.
You will need to possess relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, well-developed interpersonal, organisational, event management, and administrative skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and coordinate conflicting priorities to meet strict deadlines.
